We keep this short and honest. The interactive tools on ExitCleanly — wizards, letter generators, and calculators — run entirely in your browser. What you type into them is processed locally on your device and is not sent to our servers unless you explicitly submit an email to us.

Email you give us

If you ask us to send you a checklist or reminder, we store your email address to do that and to send occasional related updates. The legal basis is your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time, and you can ask us to delete your address.

Analytics & cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful. It is configured with Google Consent Mode v2:

• By default, before you choose, no analytics cookies are set and no identifiers are stored on your device.
• When you press Accept on our cookie banner, Google Analytics may set cookies to measure your visit. The legal basis is your consent.
• If you press Decline (or ignore the banner), no analytics cookies are set.
• You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the banner back.

Google LLC acts as our analytics processor and may process data on servers in the United States. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses, and we do not use Analytics data for advertising personalization. We never sell your data. See Google's privacy policy for how they handle it.
